Hmm you make good points. I have now requested at least 2-3 references from past customers. The breeder has been really helpful and emailing me lots of details and videos, and I will be visiting their home this weekend. I was also looking at Aadnesen Savannahs in the Sacramento area - anyone familiar with them? They don't have any kittens at this time but overall also seem really helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks! So it's been a long day! Thanks for all of your input, I really appreciate it. BTW I was unable to get references from this breeder from former kitten purchasers as suggested which really also threw up some flags.
Since then, I have been talking to Trish from AllEarz in NV and we're thinking of adopting her cutie Chad.. going to decide soon but his temperament and look seems perfect! I'll keep you posted! Karen

Trish is a regular on this forum, and I've known her for years. She has two cats from me so obviously I think she's a good person ;-)

Looks like Chad has found his forever home He's going to be a California boy!

It's funny because he was literally JUST neutered when Karen contacted me about him-- like 20 minutes prior, I had the phone call saying he was all done and in recovery Perfect timing!
