Big Cat Rescue SPEWS NONSENSE AND IGNORANCE - Savannah Cats and Bengal Cats Make Bad Pets?

I'm not overly familiar with BCR being from the UK but I've seen some of their videos on YouTube and heard their name mentioned on here, and from what I see they do a good job with the big wild cats; but it seems odd to me that they choose to speak out about domestic breeds such as savannahs and bengals they should concentrate on rescuing 'big' cats.
I guess they are only judging the whole breed by what they rescue and not by the many happy well adjusted pet SV's.

BCR doesn't do a good job with anything but spewing nonsense and disdain for breeders and savannahs, chausies, bengals and whatever other cat they "rescue"...you can read the truth about BCR here: http://www.911animalabuse.org/Big-Cat-Rescue-News.php

Only one month I have a savannah and never received so much affection and loves from s cat. He is the best pet ever. He follows me everywhere, blink at me, great me at the door, turn on his back when he wants to be pet, talks to me, sleep on me and even more interesting everything i buy him he used it hhahaha. My friend owe two savannah and he will never return to any other breed. My brother have one and everyone impress with his cat personality. This say enough. For the most part Savannah makes great pets

The article is ridiculous. I've read it before buying my Bengal cat a few months ago. I just ignored the review.

I know I already answered, but thought I would share one more reason. I am on another business trip and my cats miss me! I am not suggesting other breeds wouldn't miss their people, of course. But my Savannahs are running to the door every time they hear a car outside, and still run to my husband's iPad when I call home via FaceTime because they hear my voice. Just another testament to their loyalty and affection.

Ps. Please cross fingers I get out of Buffalo tomorrow and make it home to my 2 legged and 4 legged babies!

Buffalo, ny? My home town =]

Savannahs are therapy cats...

An F7 is my sons' best friend.
My F1s are my best friends and will permit my children to sit in with them while birthing kittens and afterwards- purring nonstop. You can't even say that about most cats, but my SVs love attendance!

And of course-- this is my reasoning in video...

This is one of the most adorable things I have ever seen. Just some proof that savannah cats are so different. Most cats hate babies and view them as intruders. She was grooming the Lil one as if one of her own. Sooo sweet

the savannah I had met the f2 in pa. one of the sweetest "cats" I have ever met. Supposedly they aren't open to intruders but I didn't seem to have a problem: then again I've never had a problem so far with animals not feeling comfortable near me. (Knock on wood) I know the importance of having pets. My anxiety has become far more manageable since I got my buns. And having a savannah of my own to keep me busy. I know it will only get better. A friend of mine and my boyfriend are going to be working on a documentary about the importance of emotional support animals in both tough situations and in daily life. to improve well being. of course my soon to be here savannah will be included in this and I will make a point to say some good stuff for the community. I feel like bcr is a part of why ny state hates hybrids. hopefully with selective sbt breeding one day the sbt sv's will be just as servally and typey as the higher generations. Let ny state eat that!

SBT savannahs are already pretty servally, depending on the cat :)
