Breeder interaction with Buyers

I must be too needy...lol....I want interaction with the breeder every 2-3 days and pics weekly...I also like to have my emails responsded to within a day...guess too much to ask...Patience, patience...

how much longer you have to wait? i got about 1.5 - 2 months to go. its hard but just got to keep my mind busy with other things since the wait is so long. this site doesnt help with that though lol.

I have 5 weeks to go..Nov 10th we pick him up....It is very hard...you want him to still be tiny to cuddle...I hope to get some pics soon...Is your breeder in contact with you alot? and updating you with pics?

Well, 2-3 days is a bit much...weekly pics should be standard...I send weekly pics and more...talk to my buyers at least once a week...my kittens will go to their new home at 16 weeks...they are still babies at that age and if you read the thread about why they should not go home before that, you will understand.

Thanks Paige, my breeder has not spoken to me on the phone..and I guess I get a short answer email about once a week avg...only got pics once, which I posted..so weekly pics would benice and to have a actual conversation...at least once...

I agree...weekly pics are very important...and I have to say that speaking with buyers and potential buyers gives me an idea of who they are....if I speak to a potential buyer, I follow it up with a thank you email and make myself available, should they have further questions....I just make the time...

The fact that you have never spoken to your breeder is not something I would ever put up with...but at least now you know what many other breeders do and perhaps you will choose a different breeder the next time

The phone calls are what "does it" for me. I have dealt with people on the phone my entire career and think I can get a pretty good idea of attitude, sincerity, knowledge levels....so many things. But, I am psychic (LOL) so that helps, too.

It's so esay to text a photo snapped in a second to a family waiting for their newest member.

The breeder i'm dealing with now i have yet to talk on the phone with but she seems very busy. she did make me fill out an application before sending me the contract for the deposit.

Well, as I have said, we are all very busy...very few of us breed savannahs for a living and have other work and children and pets that keep us busy. I will always make time for my buyers and prospective buyers. That is how I handle things...others are different.
