I do as well, Pam...So now Patti has her tree and it is up. meanwhile I received a new shelf to replace the broken shelf for my armakat tree and guess what??? That shelf arrived in three pieces from China. Completely broken!!! So it is almost finished, but not quite and I am pretty ticked off. It has been almost 3 weeks now, since I started putting it together and can't finish because of broken parts

I told them today that if I don't have a shelf in my house by Friday,that is not broken, i will take the tree down and they can come and get it and issue a refund.

I'd not bought an Amarkat tree for a few years but they seemed decent quality then...

Thanks brigitte..they absolutely were and actually I really like this tree. But because everything is coming from China and they aren't packing it correctly, I receive broken replacements for the broken parts Let's see if I get a replacement shelf this week...

Sorry to be so late in responding to this - I suppose the bamboo is scratchable, but so far I haven't had any cats try to scratch it. The floors of the platforms are also out of the bamboo material, which I like better than the fabric, since that can wear out so quickly.

well, I got my cat tree before you did and I still cannot put mine up because I am waiting for a replacement shelf to replace the replacement shelf from China. Lesson learned - I will never order an aramark tree again - I have since found out that their trees are all now made in China and if you need a replacement part, guess where it comes from?

It has been 3 weeks and my tree is almost finished...but I cannot finish the top of it because the shelf is missing
