... Just one thing with them on TOP of the TALL Cat Tree, is that too tall for them.... I know with Elsa, I started off with Smaller Ones before I got her her tall one... I certainly would not want to see a Broken Paw or worse.

Well, lets see, they can already leap from the floor to the Condo house, a Queen size bed is right next to the tree, and a side bay window, so they have lots of areas to land. purrsonally feel the tree is just the right size.

When Zeddie was a kitten I just did the 7 ft tree. We didn't have problems at all, but she wasn't too adventurous with it. Jimmy.....well he already broke his leg without it :p

Well I am no expert... When Elsa was just about 3 months old she jumped down 8 feet onto a wooden floor and where she was stunned for a few seconds she was ok... Even though I felt my heart go through the floor - Maybe I am just overly protective, as I still try (and note the term try) to keep her out of trouble.

Totally understand. TTT, the twins are more endanger of missing the table and either bonking their heads and tumbling to the ground or sliding into the wall!!!!

They both have been very cautious of the tree I love it cause they can stair step to each level. Their F2 wonder powers are sarting to manifest,& likely I'm in more danger of getting hurt. :roflmao::love:

Even when I have kittens, they use the big cat trees when they are old enough... I put pillows down all around them just in case

Not to sound dumb or anything.... But what is considered old enough... I know I got Elsa her big cat tree at about 5 or 6 months old.

I think they will do what they want no matter the age. Regulus climbed to the top of some tall cabinets in his quarantine room less than a week ater coming home. ( he was about 14 weeks then ) He has fallen, as has Kilifi. Scares the P do outta me. But it seems to NOT bother them.
MAYBE we are just too over protective.

I have been accused of that.... but I don't think that I will change either.... At my new house, there is no height that Elsa can get too that could really be a true detriment to her, so I do not keep as close of an eye on her, but at the Memphis house, the heights and Ceilings are much higher....

I understand John. She is your companion...your baby. I am the same with Kilifi. She sometimes get miffed that I watch over her so much.
Regie, on the other hand, is a rough and tumble boy. He will have none it.
