She is beautiful. Tell her that at least 10 times per day. If she is stressed at the move, that will make her feel more at ease. If she is just chatty, it will help you become her human. ;)
She does look a little unsure in the pictures. In her eyes. Missing the old home, mama and sibs.
So adorable. Congrats rtb. :)

What a gorgeous girl! A lovely face and nice loooong legs. One of mine is definitely a chatterer but during the first week was much more "talkative!" I think most will settle down. I recommend lots of distracting activities like feather wands and track ball toys! In no time the bond will be forming. :)

I think if she is jumpy at any noise, adding some background noise of tv or radio (when you are not trying to sleep of course!) will help... it's at least worth trying...

She is so pretty!!!
I have a talker at home, my F5 boy D, but three years in, it feels too quiet if he isn't talking to me :)

What a beautiful girl...and congrats! I bet the "talking" settles down once she adjust to her new home away from her siblings and mom.

Agreed that spending as much as time as possible with her playing and interacting is best, as well as adding some background noise, such as a radio or TV. I do hope she is not spending the majority of the time hiding under your bed?

Firstly congratulations on getting a Savannah the two most important things to do when bringing your Savannah baby home is to give It lots of love & reassurance & tell them that everything is going to be O,K.

She is so cute - all eyes and ears! She just needs lots of loving and affection and in time she will calm down. And, as others have stated, you may have a super chatty SV!

She's beautiful! The crying as everyone said is probably anxiety. But with that said I have two chatty cats and I am not sure if I made them that way or not.

With Jengo I meowed at him all the time in the beginning and that started him meowing back and he's never ever shut up. Our new kitty cried but was very social so I'd pet him while rolled around meowing that worked, when I would leave he'd cry and cry and cry all night. He wasn't used to being alone. As he has gotten to experience the house and Jengo he has just gotten chatty. He learned meowing gets him play time, affection and food. He doesn't answer back like Jengo does...yet...but he's getting there. Jengo and I have full on conversations.

I don't think chatty sv's are super unusual. :)

I think that is so cool that you and Jengo have conversations. My girls look at me like.." What? You want ME to talk???"
