Fancy feast ( chicken, salmon, tuna) no turkey
Free range/ organic chicken raw
Sirloin tip buffalo raw
Venison raw
Dry food is out 24/7

Just wondering if what you are seeing is calcium from raw bone. I had one cat that wouldn't digest raw as well as the other cats, and occasionally after being backed up would take ghost poops. Grayish in color, and nothing but calcified nuggets. It was simply too much bone in the raw for him to digest and once I started backing out about half the bone I never saw the issue again. We did need to give him some stool softener to get him regular, but it was a couple days

She doesn't get any bones, when we are having the chicken, buffalo or venison we cut hers off before we season what we will be eating. I spent weeks preparing our house for her arrival. Once she arrived I found additional things I needed to change. Our house is more cat friendly than human friendly. There isn't anywhere she could be getting anything that is that color. She eats cat grass and dry food for roughage daily. If I didn't pick up after her at time of deposit, I would never suspect anything.Daily walks (30 to 50 mins), Runs, plays and eats like a chow hound. Daily deposits, I do add drops of water to everything I offer her. Because the litter is clay I want to avoid any possibility of her not being able to donate a deposit. She will also accept drops of from a syringe, every visit to the kitchen window ( 5 to 10 times daily) I offer her drops of water. Also add drops of water to wet can food.
I appreciate your time and effort in thinking of other possibilities.

Not that lack of bones has anything to do with the litter ingestion issue, but it is an important thing to be included in a raw diet. If you are unable to grind bones you should be using bone meal or calcium carbonate. For a healthy cat you need to have a balance of bone and muscle meat to provide a calcium/phosphorous balance.

What, no pictures of poo yet?
Because you asked for it. First time Day 11 that there is a significant difference in color. Top of photo true to the color of the litter........and now a new discovery. When smearing I discovered grit. OMG she is eating sand! Now what back to yesterday's news, too big to eat?

I did not know that. It is ok to give them bones? What about sharp shardes? What exactly should I get brand name if I choose to not give bones. Dantes asked for a poo photo just posted it. Now I find she is eating the sand in her litter box. This is wearing me out mentally, now what?

Oh now I re-read the post GRIND THE BONES... sorry.

You should absolutely be including bones or bone meal with your cats raw diet. Not sure if you're grinding but if not you can pick up bone meal and add it into your raw mixture. I also think there are a fair amount of supplements people use for feeding slab meats without bones that includes the other necessities. I have never ran that route, but I am sure there are a few people who can chime in.

As long as the bones are uncooked they will just chew them up and swallow them. Occasionally larger pieces they will leave in the bowl. The bones should never be cooked as that is where you run into issues with bone shards and potential choking.

Hope that helps!

BTW, you don't necessarily need to grind the bones, you can take something like a chicken thigh give it a couple whacks with a meat clever and your cat will chew up the soft pieces of bone. Also, many people here are feeding cats whole chicken legs at times and the cats will eat the bone.

You know what I'd actually do? I'd go to plain newspaper in the litter box for now.

Let her tummy settle and then you can try different litters, but if she's still nibbling-- cats often will use a box with just paper in it. No, no good odor control, but one-- it will let you easily see what she's pooping out and it will break the habit of munching litter.
