Diarrhea, losing weight, lack of energy, wobbly on feet

Returned the Royal Canin HP canned and bought the Hills Prescription z/d Ultra canned, their version of hypoallergenic and it's a hit. She is eating it! They have a z/d dry version but it is low allergen not allergen free. I shall wait and see what her digestive tract thinks of the Hills hypoallergenic.
I really hope then that this diet is what works then if she likes to eat it... paws crossed for success for you!

Back for an overnight stay at the vets. Went for a follow up today - still wobbly in back end. Eating the hypoallergenic food, stool is better but still issues. I call it wobbles, vets sees "tremor" (ataxia) in head. Blood panel good, Platelets all good BUT blood pressure quite low. Wanted to put on IV again overnight to see if BP something to do with hydration.

This started a couple of months ago with litter box misses, then diahrrhea, dehydration, now tremors.

Recommending endoscopy and biopsy for belly issues and head MRI for tremor. How can this all be happening at same time? Even vet said these were two umsemingly related issues. Her appetite is now good which is one positive. Suggestions welcome!!

OMG you poor honey and poor kitty. I have no ideas to offer but support, and hope that they identify what the heck is going on with her!

Ugh, ataxia of the head sounds rather ominous, but in reality could be something as simple as an ear infection. Fingers crossed that you are able to figure out what it is, and can treat it easily!!

For the doctor when you have a moment :)

What if .... The diarrhea and dehydration is actually secondary to the root issue. Knowing she has a sensitive stomach did food recommendations and medication cause this part of her current issue.

If I said my young (<3yrs) cat appeared to be progressively losing control over bowels (first sign of trouble), bladder OK, has a head tremor and seems to be developing a weak hind end and/or losing balance. What would you suggest? Nothing easy or obvious in any blood tests. No parasites in fecal.

Vet did mentioned inner ear infection, said MRI to diagnose. Could this cause bowel issues as first sign?
Toxo? Could this be possible? Single cat house, indoor cat. Where would she pick this up?
Which seems more critical at this point- MRI of head or endoscopy?
I will find out in a few hours if the IV had any impact on low blood pressure. (still a little early here on the west coast)

I understand medicine is not a perfect science but definitely getting frustrating, not to mention crazy stressful. Picking her up now. BP is apparently normal. They fed her - need to find out what - and of course still has diarrhea. Had blood test done again and have copy of results and of BP results. 90 mmHg at checkin about 5pm, 80 at 11pm, 96 at 5am, 116 this morning at 8am. Taking her home. Not much to do until internist back in Monday.

Now i'm just plain angry. Paid a small fortune to have her there overnight only to find out they fed her regular cat food - twice. So while I paid for IV fluids to rehydrate her, they helped dehydrate her as regular food causes extreme diarrhea. When I checked her in I said I did not bring food, the Dr said not to worry she'll be OK overnight without eating. Really disappointing. I paid a bundle for "professional" care, I should have just kept her at home. Oh, and I'm supposed to come back Monday for a neurological consult. Not likely. Back to looking for another vet. I don't mind paying for care, but I expect them to be more responsible than this.
