Heather,
Let us know if it works. Mine isn't AS bad as before, but it's still there. And yes, the coughing. It's more like he's 'snorting' continuously.
Snorting is probably a better description than coughing. By the way, I discovered pill pockets are working a lot better than other ideas I have tried for the medication. I hope it works.

Sorry about the delay, but I have been places with very restricted internet access for some time. I haven`t gone through the whole thread, but would like to add a few comments on lymphomas in general:
They are cancers involving immune (system) cells, and are well described in the Merck vet manual:
"Lymphomas are one of the most prevalent tumours in dogs and cats. The normal immune response requires a burst of rapid proliferation of lymphocytes. On occasion however, this proliferation may be uncontrolled, and lymphoid neoplasms result. Because lymphocytes are present in all organs, tumour development can occur in any organ. Lymphomas can be multicentric, mediastinal, gastrointestinal, renal, nervous, or leukemic. Less commonly, they occur in the eyes, skin, or nose. To determine the stage of the disease, CBC, serum chemistry profiles, abdominal ultrasound, abdominal radiographs, and bone marrow analyses are useful. Immuno-fluorescent staining can be performed in dogs and cats to characterize lymphomas. They may be either T cell or B cell in origin." and I`d also like to recommend the following link:
http://www.fabcats.org/owners/cancer/lymphoma.html
Lymphomas may be viral or unknown in origin or cause, but are often associated with use of immunosuppressive drugs. "Often" here means that when you have a cat with lymphoma, it may have been given an immunosuppressive drug before the lymphoma was seen, NOT the other way round! Most animals given immunosuppressive drugs do NOT develop lymphomas. But! They are caused by wildly replicating immune system cells, and some of them are difficult/impossible to treat, just like other cancers: you are better off without one, but you will often see successful treatment. Aggressive tumours in young animals are never a good thing, they are often discovered too late or they progress too quickly to respond to treatment. And as someone mentioned, congenital is not synonymous with inherited.
On a last note, a lot is unknown about cancers in general, and many people try to profit from this fact. Please, breathe through your nose when reading stuff on the internet proclaiming either "The TRUTH" or "The CURE" for cancers. Cross-check, and if you use www.scholar.google.com you will find peer reviewed stuff that is less profit- and more fact-oriented.

Thank you so much for the detailed information.

My kitten fathered by Goat has a few coughs here and there. He seems fine, but I'll be sure to keep an eye on him. I did notice however when he's asleep, he snored a bit weird. Sounded more like snorting...I'm a bit worried now. Taran is really sweet, and seems honest. I bought a male from her May 1st kittens. I hope everyone's kitten do well. Sorry for your loss Django.

Hi Socalirocker :)
I have a male from Goat and Bellissima's March litter. I know that Heathers kitten and 'Mila's' current kitten are showing the same runny nose sniffling symtoms. Mila lost his first kitten at 4 months; also from same breeder.

Hello socalircker,
I have a kitten from march goat and stella litter. Currently trying another antibiotic. I will post if it works. My kitten appears healthy aside from sneezing issues discussed above.

I too, have a kitten from Taran whose father is Goat. Mother is the black melanistic but I forget her name at this time. My kitten,Kovu was born May 25,2013 and and so far is in great health. Taran did tell me thst he was an F2.5 but I knew better with research. Taran has given me the most amazing animal ever. i sure hope he remains healthy. She is honest about wanting her cats ty o look wild so I do not think she breeds based on standards set for SVs just tries to find wild looking traits to reproduce. She has answered wuestions since my purchase and believe she is honest and in no way running a scam. She does this for love, not money. Her husband has a very successful business and I do not think they would jeopardize

When I met Taran and her husband at a show they were clear about breeding for income, as Taran stays at home with the kids they felt she needed a home business...and breeding kittens is that business. I'm not saying they don't love their cats, I've not seen how the cats are kept to know how beloved they are. Did you get to visit the cattery, ehills?

Personally, there are many types of "wild" looks and to combine them all in the one cat somewhat takes away from all those looks...and leaves you somewhere in a middle place that isn't much of any "look"... but then my aim is for people to look at my Savannahs and see the Serval, and not any other exotic cat :)

I stay at home with my kids.

I'm just saying people have all types of excuses to not take the hard route and do right by the breed. I find it distasteful to say the very very least.
