Caution would be your best route. Make sure that what you're getting on the cheap comes with papers and actually is what they say it is. Also, there is no such thing as and f2.5 no matter how much they want to use this as a marketing ploy to sell their cats.

From what I gather, Taran sells Savannahs that would be classified as 'A' as they are outcrossed. Have you considered getting maybe a later generation? They don't cost as much as the earlier generations but are still very exotic looking. We have a lot of great breeders on the forum, so it is always a safe bet going with someone who is active in the community

u see I lost my serval years ago when the laws came down. I miss him so . That is why I seek a higher generation . I felt like I lost my child.

I got my Nala from Taran, and I think she is perfect. You can go see pictures in the kitten pic forum. That said, Nala is outcrossed with a male f3 chaussie who is also an f7 savannah. Taran only gives papers for litters from her f6 savannah don juan demarco. He is more breed standard. As u can see, Nala has serval characteristics but doesnt "look serval". So know what you are getting before ur kitten comes to you.

Michelle, I was intimately involved in the downfall from the 'new' interpretation of the AZ laws so I feel your pain. I hope at least you know where your serval went. For those who had their precious felines confiscated by AZ Game and Fish there was no closure as they never knew what happened to them

No I dont and that is what hurts. When they arrived unannounced. Of course I did everything I could think of to keep him. It came down to they were taking him. I said can u at least get 8ut of the house he knows u are here. One official said no. I said I won't be able to get him with u here. Another official said ok. I got him put him in that God forsaken box historical. No one could believe the bond we had and shared. They were amazed. Still cane down to it did not matter they took him and never to be seen again . My heart us broken. I would do anything to get him back. So you see if you know anyone who can help m e out please please let me know if any f1s
