Door Dashing

I think she uses one of the cans I mentioned - it emits a harmless spray...I have heard the scat mats work really well, but I want to try the compressed air...I have also used the tactics Brigitte mentioned.

It has setting low, med, high. I just keep it on low! I have used it in front of the door and our tv, if they step on it they get a sap and get right off. I no longer have to have them on they stay away from the places I have use them and it doesn't take very long for them to learn its a off limits place to be. I have only use it in front of the door and the TV.

The scat mat by the door is a great idea but won't work for me because I have a dog that needs to stand by the door to let me know when she needs out :(

OK, Julie...I'm there, wherever you are. Like Alisha, I live in a townhouse...Pam actually has a very good solution in the link she posted here...there are a couple of door deterrents...this one is the one I prefer: http://www.amazon.com/Contech-StayA...FFN4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1329336460&sr=8-1

And this one: http://www.amazon.com/Innotek-SSSCA...A95G/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1329336460&sr=8-6

And then there is the scatmat: http://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-ScatM...TBJ6/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1329336460&sr=8-8
How would anyone stop these from going off when people used the doors?
