Elsa Not Happy - But She Became Happy :)

Seriously John, your updates are making me so happy. Elsa and Jake are going to soak up your love and presence like little sponges for awhile. I can just imagine how much joy they're feeling to have the whole family together in one place again. Bless their little souls. All is now right with the world.

There will still be some traveling that has to be done to complete the move, but things are moving well... I got most of my computer stuff move (and that was about all I could carry in the Suburban) and Els'a Cat Tree and Toys...

One problem Elsa has found is the Hard Wood floors are slick and she has not figured this out yet.. When chasing her mouse (at full speed of course), she will either slide over or past it or slide into the wall.... Once she tried to stop, and literally (wish I had the camera running) she tucked and rolled head over heals... Looked around to make sure no one saw her, picked up the mouse and came back fro another run.
I am trying not to get it too close to the wall...

Sooooo happy for the kids John. Oh, and you too.. ;)

Me too.. Not entirely over, but getting much closer.. I have 1 or 2 more trips to carry the small stuff and then have the moving company get the rest... Really looking forward to the conclusion of all of this...

Moving really is a pain in the butt. I don't want to do it anytime soon. With my boys, I had the movers set up their cat tree in the pet room, and I gave them a litterbox and water, and opened their carriers and shut the door until it was all over. They adjusted fine.

Her nephews have long figured out that sliding and crashing on hardwood floors and tile is a load of fun! It will scare the hell out of you when she starts bouncing off the walls, but she may very well make a habit out of it.

You may have a point there... When it comes to running into things, she does not appear to be back down from them...

Everyday, it seems like Elsa is getting more comfortable with the house... She is treating it like her own....

Today while working on her continuing scientific product she wanted to check out the new showers drain, and she does not understand the clear door and is doing her best to get through it by pawing it continuously...

Also, when I am on the computer she comes up behind me, drops her mouse and then taps me on the back and tells me that she wants me to throw the mouse.. And she will keep tapping me until I throw it...
