Elsa Not Happy - But She Became Happy :)

One thing that I have noted is that Elsa is back to eating good... Especially her Dry Food of which she really loves, and of course she steals Jakes food when she can get away with it... However she has not started to gain her weight back, and from the Vet Checkup, he assures me that she is in Excellent Health... I am hoping it is just going to taker her a little more time to get the trend turned around... Right now she is fairly stable, but I am looking for a little increase... I have noted that she is much more active now.... I have tried to slow her a little bit, but keeping her from her play schedule is about as effective as nailing Jell-O to the wall....

Why are you trying to slow her down??

Because she wears my but down... LOL... She has arranged a sleep schedule for me.... If I am not up by 11AM and note that I do not get home until around 6AM she will start by licking my hands... If that does not work she sits on my stomach and waits... If that does not work, she licks my nose.... She usually wins, and she will not give up... If I lock her out of the room, I will not get any sleep, so either way I go I loose.

She will play chase the mouse until I can't throw It any more and then wants me to throw it more... She is having a great time and she is burning off all the weight that I am trying to get her to gain back.

Ugh, well wanting to play when you're trying to sleep I understand needing to nip in the butt - you'd better stop that behavior quick or you'll never get enough sleep!

LOL... When I sleep at night her and Jake sleep with me and there is no problems... Pretty soon, I hope to be back on Day Shift, and that is getting close to reality.

Elsa is back on track with her Weight... This week she showed a positive increase in the right direction. This week while playing, her and Jake went into the downstairs bathroom (I was upstairs)... All of a sudden things were quiet.... Could not find them anywhere, Starting calling for them and I heard Jake Bark... Followed to his bark and somehow they pushed the door closed and latched, locking them selves inside... I have since made arrangements to where they cannot close this door... If it happened once, it can happen again...

As for Elsa getting comfortable in the new house, the above picture tells the story... While unpacking even more stuff in the Kitchen (and I am still not finished, not even close... UGH I hate moving) Elsa seems to be getting used to the place... She sure knows how to make herself comfortable.

John, Kilifi and Regie have locked themselves in the bathroom, my bedroom and in their room. They get behind the door and push it shut.

LOL... Elsa was not really happy, but Jake is the one that called in for the rescue... Elsa had her tail all fluffed, and was shaking a little... I carried her around a few minutes and it did not take her long to get back to normal....

The more I read this, the more convinced I am that Elsa and her nephew Mayhem came out of the same mold!

Rafiki was constantly locking herself and Jammu in the master bathroom. I now have a large stuffed animal doorstop (that she has no interest in) jammed in the doorway. We have zero privacy but at least the cats don't spend hours locked up in that room.
