I hope the time goes by quickly! I cringe when I think of all the diseases that pass through a vet's office every day...

I talked to one of the girls at the vet... They have had her out of the kennel a lot playing with her.. When anyone comes into the area, she gets close to the door so they can pet her and is talking a lot to them. Had her vet to give her a once over and says she is doing great and also trimmed her nails. I was concerned about her Toilet Habits as she uses the toilet and has not been using a litter box now for over 6 months, but they assured me that she has been using the litter 100% with no problems, so she reverted back just fine... I will be going back tomorrow night (too late to pick her up), but will be at the vet first thing Friday Morning. she is on the time line to where she got home sick last time and stopped eating and the girl told me she would watch out for this and find ways to make her eat if necessary, but that will only be for one day, so not worried yet. One thing about my vet... She really likes them a lot, and They like her, so that makes a good combination.

Glad you found someone you can trust to watch her John...that is the one thing with Zeddie. If she can't come with me, it is almost impossible to find someone to watch her. My mom was thinking about taking me on a short vacation this winter, but I would have to drive Zeddie to Ottawa for a cat sitter.

Our last vacation cost us $100/night for a pet sitter (including mileage as she is about 40 miles away). That is the one HUGE disadvantage of feeding raw - the sitter needs to come at least twice per day. Needless to say, we were only gone 2 nights! It is really great that you have someone nearby that you can trust and that she tolerates.

I am back in St. Louis, Head back home VERY LATE Saturday afternoon/evening and won't be home til around 11 pm... Elsa went back to the vet to be boarded and she did much better this time... Did not cuss nearly as bad and even allowed the vets assistant to take her back. I got good reports on her today as well.

In regards to Jake, he is at home... I told everyone that I have a Buffet setup for him to feed on. I watch home on security video cameras and he is doing well... As for his Buffet that I have setup for him you can see he has a good selection and there is some left when I get back home... There is also more water upstairs for him as well...
