Great news on the progress with Trance :)

I agree that they will not remember the car trip home. For the future, try covering the crates with a sheet or blanket...

I am guessing Sabriel is stressed from the vet stay, and nothing more. She probably feels heavier because you are now handling kittens a fraction of her size and weight. You might try weighing her if you know what she weighed before her stay, for your peace of mind.

If you feel Sabriel might have something else going on...then do schedule a vet visit. And be sure to give her extra attention and lots of your time! Even if the new kittens are not within her sight, she does know they are there in her home, and without her permission or input.....:)

Yeah I was just down playing with her now. She has eaten the majority of her food already, so I'm doubting a blockage. It could very well be my perception now, hopefully that's all it is. I'll check on her litter box in the morning and pray there's stuff in there.

In regards to her weight, ironically she weighs about a pound less than she did last year when she got her rabies shot. Last year she weighed like 9 something and now she weighs 8 something. Although she feels heavy for 8 pounds but that likely goes back to perception. Carrying the little ones and then carrying her lol.

Edit: Had some other stuff typed here, took it out, as it's just me being paranoid.

Patience is a virtue people lol. Pictures will hopefully be coming soon. Right now I got some video but it doesn't get a good look at their purrty faces.

I got the ferrets home today, they seem none the worse for wear. Thank goodness.

Dilema first: Okay with their kennel which is 36 inches length wise and my guess is 18 inches for width. What I did have originally was a small litter pan, their food and water, a big stuffed cat bed, and a slightly large mouse that they were enjoying playing with - particularly the mouses tail lol.

Well, the litter pan they kept dumping, they'd stand on the edge of it and it would tip, also when they went to the litter box they would really cover up their poo/pee which would get the litter everywhere - including on all their things, and in their food and water dish!!!

So I decided a change was needed, I went out and bought a litter box with a cover to it, issue is it takes up like more than half the kennel! I can't win... I can still fit the cat bed and food in there, and they're climbing on top of the litter box so I guess they didn't lose playing space but I feel like a bad cat mom. :(

I plan on playing with them a lot in the upstairs cat room, they're going to need the roaming space when they can get it!

Other issue: Kim wanted the kittens with specific litter type a pine type. I had Sabriel on Worlds Best Cat litter. Since it was in the contract I switched Sabriel to that litter before she got home yesterday, which is also why she didn't go pee for so long, and when she finally did it was right outside the litter box. I changed the litter back to her normal litter and she later went pee back in the box. So since I don't want peeing problems from her, particularly since she's almost two. I changed the kittens litter now thinking their more likely to adapt. I emailed Kim a little bit ago, hopefully it's okay with her. If it's not I'll change the kittens back to their litter. But when I am able to merge them I don't know what the heck I'll do. Would they each use the different types of litter without an issue? I have a feeling the kittens would still use the World's Best.. Ugh. I don't know what to do. Right now waiting for Kim's response.

If Kim says they have to stay on Pine Pellets for their litter, is there a way I could get Sabriel to switch to that? I mean with her using Worlds Best - could I slowly change the litter like you would with food? Slowly put a little in, then more, then more etc.

Yes you can mix litter. I did for Kilifi. it won't take long. AT least it didn't with mine. Kittens...I don't know. Sabriel should change fairly quickly. ( Hopefully.)
