This is Sadie at 6 weeks. A few days before she joined our family! Love, live, love her!!!!
Pretty girl, but 6 weeks old is WAY to early to go home. The EARLIEST they should go home is 12 weeks.

No reputable breeder would send a kitten home at 6 or 7 weeks. They can't be properly immunized at that point, and shouldn't be forced off mom's milk either because that can cause issues with digestion. As well as they need those additional weeks to learn proper social skills from mom and/or their siblings.

I read that after the fact. She has done super good though. She got her first shots and I'll get her follow up soon. I've been paying super attention to her needs and learning all I can so she isn't negatively affected. They put her on kibbles with some wet food, but I've done special things in her diet, ground chicken, etc. I give her milk and she's adapted very well. I'd like to say I picked her, but actually she picked me. I held all the siblings and they were all beautiful, but Sadie clung to me and picked me. It was incredible.
