If his paw is swollen- it's because that vetwrap is TOO TIGHT. It looks too damn tight to me in the picture- he's not a long fluffy furry cat- it shouldn't be that tight. I'm concerned- it needs to come off IMHO.

Yes, i know this is where my concern is all about.
anyway it's already late here now. i can't go to the vet anymore.
All i can do is go to sleep and try at night. else tommorow go to the vet.

On the looks of his behavior he's not in pain.

Niels, it needs to come off...it looks like it is cutting off circulation...if you leave it like that, you could have some serious issues when you wake up...can you wrap Themba in a huge towel tightly and cut off those bandages? Wrap him like a mummy and do one leg at a time...they have to come off...

I'm still busy on it.

On one side i get a little piece of, only an inch.
But from here on maybe he can do it himself farther.
It isn't that diffucult anymore.

Now i'm gonne leave him for a few minuts because i'm really bugging him.
wrapping him up is not a good idea knowing themba.

Now i did it while he was eating.
While he eats he ain't tolerate at all but at least he's distraction.
I need to try it in short pieces.

The vet gave me dieet food for his diarrea but i think he can eat it all in 2 days.
his appetite ain't suffering under the giaria.

Can it be that themba waked up to early and the vet didn't dare to clean him and take the bondage of ?

Knowing how themba can do i can understand the fear.
On me or my brother it has no effect but my father fears him too.
After 2 months he still don't dare to touch him.
Not that it's very bad me and my brother pet him alot, even while playing.

Oke, i just see it's not that hard to take of.
Only problem is that you need to be on the back of his paw.
He tries to open it from the front.

When he is deep asleep i think i can take it off.

Yeah, vet wrap should be relatively easy to pull off once you realize where you are pulling from.

Yes, he may have woke earlier then they expected- but ONE, the vet wrap shouldn't have been that tight in the first place. Two- regardless of whether he woke up early or not, it is their JOB to take care of their patients and the includes unwrapping the vet wrap.

Paige is right- it's his circulation in that paw I'm concerned about. While it may not seem painful at the moment- in another hour or two or three, it will continue to swell- the blood flow won't find any release and it will be extremely painful to him. Which will make it HARDER for you to get off of him- because once it's painful, he won't want you handling it.

Yes the phonecall i did said enough actually.

she said if i cant do it this evening i should come back tomorrow and we do it together.

Because she said together she will had problems to take it off.
A few weeks ago when she put themba out of the carrier and vaccined him she all made it looks so easy.

so i'm confused.

anyway i'm keeping close eye on him and i keep trying.
It ain't hard to take the first inch of but it hard to go fully around.
themba is getting pretty annoyed at me.

Everytime i get it loose alittle bit a few seconds later it sticks back.
Pff getting desperate.

Before my brother tried it the hard way wearing gloves and trying to hold him.
This made him so scared that he is very alert of me.

I wish I was there to help you :(

Do you have any type of oil or anything to keep the stupid wrap from sticking again? I think your vet mau have used Elasitkon, which is really sticky...and she defintiely wrapped it way too tight - there was NO need for that...
