Giardia

No need i got it off.

Pfew, after 5.5hours trying.

What a day for themba, losing his balls, +5hours some annoying guy touching his legs and getting very bad test results on his poop.

Even with all the giardia thing coming up i'm so relieved right now.

Yay for getting the bandages off! I feel relieved for you! LOL!

As to the giardia meds, if it is panacur (fenbendazole) the powder is pretty tasteless so mixing into his food should work just fine...

How exactly are you going to medicate Themba for his giardia? I'm guessing you are going to trick him into taking his meds? LOL.

sure thing, dunno if i can use a fork here.

Perhaps i can put the pill into some piece or meat, or maybe a 1day chicks head or something.

I don't know if i put this here before.

But the vet only gave me a cycle of 3 days.
Because i found it out very quickly she says it should be enough.
Else it was 10 days or 2 cycles from 5 days or something like that.

So far other people don't really believe 3 days might work.

Yes pam, i'm still thinking about where to go.

I just got there because this is the only vet i know that has expierence witht he Savannah.
they are very friendly and helpfull, but this is a bit to much.
tomorow i need to know why they didn't do it.

I just left another vet because my birman cat had a knob in the fur. (what's the english word for this?)
i told the vet that she didn't needed to cut it out, that i wanted to do it myself.
She didn't listen and tried anyway. cutting didn't work so they shaved.
After telling her again that she didn't need to do it she didn't stop.
It all went very uneasy and they needed 4 hands to keep a 16year old cat calm.
i can do it alone without him even noticing it.
