I really need to get sleep now,

I only got 3 out of the 4 cats.

I was planning tomorow to steamclean the entire house, i don't know its still of much use now.

I tried different ways, at the end i got impatient and try to put it down their throat.
I can't do it and the cat can feel i'm very tense.

Pilling cats can certainly be no fun, although what I've learned it is more my tension that makes it rough than theirs. A few months back having two cats to pill twice a day, one being very difficult, I don't know that I ever came up with a better way to do it, just went at it with a lot more confidence. The cats can definitely feel your stress and if your stressed out your chances for success dramatically decrease.

So make your plan, know where your going to sit, how you are going to hold them and how you are going to get them to swallow the pill. Be quick but not forceful and you can generally make it happen pretty quickly. If you can't make it happen on the first or second try, then wait a half an hour because your patient is far removed from trying to help you out.

Yes indeed,
I was already tense before i tried it because it didn't work with the food.

Today the vet gave me some tips i can try.
Now i'm going to try it directly without going over all kinds of food first.

I'm going to be owned by cats all my life, so it's best i do it the good and fast way.

I'm one step further with the pilling.

I'm able to get it in their mouth only they don't want to swallow it.

I close their mouth and rub their throat for 20seconds.
I guess the trick is to get in deeper in their mouth first.

Or i can go and try to crush it, mix it with water and inject the water in their mouth.
will that be better ?

There is a cat pilling tool that will help you get the pills further back, the vet should have it. I was looking for a link and didn't see one but I did see this site: http://virtuavet.wordpress.com/2010/09/22/professional-tricks-to-give-your-cat-medication/

Pencil Trick

Here’s an oldie, but a goodie, especially if you don’t have a Piller.
  • Take a pencil with the eraser tip intact (or a pen, but the wooden pencil is easier and lighter to handle the balance of it.
  • Apply a small bit of butter, honey, or cream cheese to the eraser.
  • Stick the pill to the dollop of gooey food to help hold the pill to the pencil.
  • Hold your cat’s head as shown and insert the pencil from the side.
  • Angle 15 degrees toward the back roof of the mouth and behind the hump of the tongue, about 2/3 of the way back.
  • Push the pill toward the side and back of the throat.
  • Lightly close the cat’s mouth when you are done and massage the neck to encourage swallowing.
  • Do not crack the mouth shut; cats will stick their tongue out just as they swallow. If you shut the mouth tightly, they have a harder time, and you can’t see the tongue movement to confirm swallowing. Follow with water!

Niels..has he been tested for TF (TriTrich)?

No clue paige,
I didn't get a list of all the things they tested.
Before i did the pills for gardia his stools were mostly bad sometimes good.
Now the stools are mostly good and sometimes bad but not very bad.

I don't know if its bad enough, to keep testing.
Maybe i should put him first on his regular food and see how it goes.
All those test are so expensive. I already spended around 500$ at the vet in 1 month time.
He also eats so much... same or more then my 3 other cats together.
Also i keep getting more and more stray cats here.
I feed them all.

My cat budget is now just crazy lol.
I'm still not in financial problems, don't worry.
I just want to be sure it's worth it to keep testing.

Then I would keep an eye on him...and make sure you speak to the breeder please...
