I looked at the basic and clicked on the link for high capacity for dogs. It looks alot taller, not too sure if it would work for cats?

I don't know, but you can call the 800 number and speak to Barry...Tell him you have savannah cats and are from the forum..he will help you decide.

Angie, talk to Barry and read some of the reviews. If I recall correctly someone reported buying the high capacity and it worked fine for their cats and dogs. Barry also notes on his site that you can use 32oz glass vinegar bottles instead of buying more of his bottles. I did so and they work fine though I like the quality of his glass bottle that came with it better, the vinegar bottles work just as well.

Planning on buying one of these shortly. Is the perfect pet fountain worth the extra expense, or should I just start with the basic? For those of you with fountains, what extras are recommended?
