Grass is a gas

This looks like a neat idea. Sadly for my kitties I am allergic to grass or they would have this very thing.

My little one is very sick right now, at the vet's yesterday. Severe sore throat and swollen tonsils. No voice.
She is on Azithromycin and Buprenex. While the pain medication is in effect she does eat and I keep the water going. I have taught her to accept water from a syringe. She's better today but still in pain. Poor baby, I'm not budging from her side.
So sorry to hear your baby is sick - prayers for a speedy recovery!!

I did this the winter before last, at Zeddie's special request. She loved it...until Tiger peed in it. Then it stank  And it took like 4 weeks to grow, and I couldn't find a container big enough (apparently I didn't look very hard) maybe I will try again this year, and put it up high so Tiger can't pee in it

Kitty hasn't ever used it for the potty and her litter box and grass box are both cement mixing boxes. It makes me so happy you all are enjoying my innovative idea. How we all love our babies.

I love Home Depot and know most of the merchandise. But it was only after me chasing the moon going to many pet stores looking for a Big potty box. And only finding typical cheap potty box plastic containers, that kitty doesn't like. The light bulb went on and decided to look at Home Depot, I had a feeling I would find something there. I love Home Depot!!!

Wondering if anyone is growing oat grass? Looking for new ideas on how to grow indoor grass. Right now I'm using small trays lined with micro hydroponic growing mat. Laying the seed on it and keeping it wet. And keeping it away from kitty until it is big enough. the grass sold at pet stores is wheat grass only and she won't eat wheatgrass. I rotate batches but am wondering if anyone else had a better routine. The grass in the cement tubs was never for eating. She never tried to eat it. Guess she didn't prefer that type either. I have a fussy fur ball girl! Any info appreciated!
