Um....you know how I have reported that the vets in my area have a very bad opinion of savannah cats and they cannot believe how sweet Rafiki is? Well, the unsocialized savannahs are coming from him.

Yes, that is why the cat for rescue was being surrendered...

Hi Jesse - that post from Aimee is from 2012, so I'm not sure she will answer...my only dealings with Bion were through Savannah Rescue...he does not participate at all in the savannah community, so cannot really give you much feedback...

I see, thank you. The picture on my profile is of the kitten he is selling me. He said his f1 is 75% and that this boy is 38% serval. He is selling him for $6,000. I put a downpaymet to hold him, but when I seen the kitten in person, he looks small for a HP f2, or an f2 ears are also very small.

Yah I doubt it is what he says, since he breeds many different cats...

He uses Bengals in his Savannah breeding program. That could account for the small ears, assuming that everything else is true.

When you saw the kitten in person, did you also see any of the adult cats? Were they approachable?

One thing that bugs me about him is that he describes Pixie-bobs as the most dog-like of hybrids. Pixie-bobs are 100% domestic - there is zero wild blood in them, they just look the part. He also has a picture on his site of a "f-1 bobcat hybrid" and according to UC Davis, there is no such thing. As a result, I tend to question his claims.

Actually non of his adults savannahs seemed approachable. My kittens mom although beautiful was very standoffish and hissed like crazy. The mom does look very f1 and Bion said the dad was f5 with Geoffrey's cat in his background- hence the ears.
