Hi everyone

Mantha Meow

Savannah Super Cat
I have no advice on the pedigree of the kittens. However they are ADORABLE!!!! So stinkin' cute! The one standing in the back of the catpile picture looks just precious! I hope you can get this situation resolved and find out the true pedigree of all your furbabies!

Photos came through perfectly!!!!! Thank you.

I definitely think the cats featured are Savannahs, but I do NOT believe the they are F2 and/or F3 kittens. They appear to be F5, F6, F7 etc. generation kittens in MY professional opinion.

Not sure how helpful this is to you...but I'm trying to give you as much information as I am able from far away.

All best,
Well at least they look like Savannahs! The black cat with them is the DSH mother. Poor thing the kittens are now at 12 weeks 3/4 of her size already! The silver/black spot with red collar is Dad (F????) who absolutely adores them.

I agree, Cynthia, there was no doubt in my mind that the kittens that Eloise67 has had born there are Savannahs...I think it a shame she won't be able to give them registration papers, albeit incorrect ones as it seems obvious that the father's papers incorrectly have him as F3.

While I understand that maybe the breeder was duped also, it seems that the breeder has no real interest in finding out more and instead is continuing to breed the female and misrepresent the kittens. I only hope she does better in ensuring the male kittens are neutered early enough to prevent more outcrossed kittens being produced unintentionally :-(

I don't know what a TICA Pedigree certificate looks like can someone post one? I'll look for the paper to see what I was given but think it was just written on paper, I'm not positive. Boy, I know so much more now.
Nov18-10-nina-ped.jpg here's a bad scan of my F1 Nina's pedigree as example. You can see that because her dad is a Serval that the sire's background is "unknown" (TICA does not track pedigrees of other species of cat).

If you have a registered Savannah, you can always get the TICA certified pedigree by contacting TICA and paying the fee. www.tica.org has more info.

I agree fully with Brigitte. Now that the breeder knows that there is a problem, she should rectify this, instead of continuing to dupe people (now the benefit of doubt cannot be given, as she is aware there is a problem).

Am sad to see that this is taking place in the UK.

Thank you for posting this. Ok am I understanding that I would need to order and pay for a TICA pedigree if I wanted one that the breeder doesn't issue one? I can't remember what mine looked like but I'm positive it did not look like this. First moment I gave free I will certainly be going thru my files to find it. Thanks again!

The kittens are adorable! And definitely look like Savannahs. It's a shame you can't register them.
