How many times has this happen with your savannahs?

This happens to paper rolls in our household too. And to many other items which are on table, soon no longer are on table. Both Savannah cat and Border Collie want to open paper rolls and then rip them apart to little pieces. Sometimes when I come home, our house is full of ripped papers. The most guilty animal for that is the Border Collie.

Does anyone else's SV cat have an issue with fingernail files? My Kilifi gets all upset when I try to file my nails. She grabs the file and tries to chew it up. And she licks my fingernails. It almost seems like she thinks the file is hurting me and she is protecting me.. It's cute, but a little bit of pain.

That must be quite the combo...savannahs and a border collie

Interesting - I rarely ever use a nail file so can't say that I've ever had a cat with an issue with them. I'll bet if you pulled out the nail clipper she'd run the other way!

Maybe she hates the sound. Ugh I HATE finger nail files...they give me the heeby jeebs.

I GENTLY filed her nails and she just wanted more. This was before she got her claws clipped today. I dunno.

Rafiki is too obsessed with toothbrushes to bother noticing the nail file.

We cannot leave a toothbrush without the protective case. She LOVES them and will steal them in a heartbeat. She is a royal pain in the backside when we are brushing our teeth. So yes, we do have a toothbrush for her that we use with the poultry flavored toothpaste. All I have to do is show her the toothbrush and she runs full throttle to the bathroom. Of course, she is more interested in chewing the bristles (and unfortunately the plastic part if we aren't careful) than actually getting her teeth brushed but I do manage a few swipes during each session.
