The only time Bella will sit next to me and stay there is when we are at the vet.
I am the second family that Bella has had and I think there is some background
I can only guess at. To give you an idea one of her nicknames is Boo. When she
first moved in if you were to reach down and touch her and she had not seen you
reach she would jump as if being hit. She has gotten over that with time and gental
things like a back rub.

Bella obviously finds it comforting to be beside you at the vet, one of my cats Tuco is a very confident boy but different story at the vet, he acts all afraid and will cling to you, I think he has memories of his first home too, didn't have the best start. Saying that he was still quite a quiet shy boy, until Vito came along and he really brought him out of his shell.
I'm actually amazed at how confident and fearless Savannah's are, it seems to rub off on the rest of the gang, everyone seems to have been given a new lease of life since he joined the family:)

Funny story about on of her escapes. I was right on her tail and she was a bit boxed in by the two fences and the next door house.
They had dogs and they were barking at a cat. That cat was Bella and what did she do? She walked right up to the fence and looked
at them. As far as I know the other people that she lived with only had the one other cat and that was it. I guess she thought she was
going to have big dog for a lunch snack. Mind the dogs are not little or timid. They are Golden Retrievers. She just stood there giving them
a good look as I walked up and picked her up. Have you seen the video of when she first met Xander?

Here is the video.

Here is Max.he was Bella's father.

I wished I had gottem more video of him. He was so friendly and nice.
If temperament is genetic then that is where Bella got hers.

Looks like Bella was certainly showing Xander who is the boss here, heheh:) Xander is so small in that video.
Max was a stunning serval, it's obvious where Bella gets her good looks from. I actually had Vito out on his harness tonight when a dog walker appeared with a Springer spaniel, Vito made a lunge for him all bushed up with a tail like a huge toilet brush, I pulled him away but the poor spaniel who was 3 times the size of him, rolled onto his back and was all submissive, Vito walked away looking all pleased with himself.

Hundreds spent on the fluffiest, snuggliest, comfiest cat beds and they nap in a grocery sack and on the ripple rug

Typical..... It's the same with toys, spent a fortune on every kind of fancy toy you can think of and they'd rather play with an empty paper bag.
Witchy, I've never seen one of those ripple rugs before, where does one buy one of those and are they any good? Always on the lookout for something new for Vito.

All 4 of mine are crazy about this thing. Such a simple concept. I've heard rumors that there are some SVs who aren't impressed by them.

Thanks for that, quite interested in getting one to try, worse case scenario if Lord Vito doesn't like it there's another 3 of his felines buddies whom I'm sure will give it a go. Looks a good stimulation toy, believe me, this lad needs lots of that at the moment, think he's going through his teenage spell:)
Thanks again, shall keep you posted if it's a thumbs up!

Looks like the bathroom floor mat. I gave up on ever seeing it stay flat on the floor.

Bella is using extortion on me. I can't use the keyboard unless I give here some snacks first.
