Neither of my 2 seem to have got the genes to enjoy water.... which is probably good as they have access to a natural spring fed pond full of tadpoles and frogs I prefer they ignore, and they mostly do.

Pictures of HB and WC enjoying the fenced yard... they are both so much happier, having free daytime access to our rural yard. Even WC who seemed content in with just the enclosures has trimmed down, matured, gotten better coordinated and seems less like a big clumsy year and a 1/2 old baby kitten... and their relationship seems to have also improved. They are sleeping together again. View attachment 27925 View attachment 27924 View attachment 27923 View attachment 27922 View attachment 27927
Wow, what a fantastic set up you have for HB & WC, lucky puddy tats

We are all lucky to live in such a beautiful place! Such a big cat proof fence was an insane amount of work, and I wouldn't have done it, but HB was desperate to be out in the yard, and watching cat paradise happening just out of reach, and seeing me out there without him, was making him miserable. I could not bear to watch this for the rest of his life. My yard is like my living room, and a lot of my basic necessities are connected to it, so it just flows so much better when the cats are part of my daily rhymes and chores! (Another picture of WC enjoying the orchard.... they do a good job of thinning the fruit!) 7A61523F-0547-4189-AEF9-7AFF46ACFC6F.jpeg

Here is Xander being his normal self. He was up to something when I took this photo.
This photo is a more resent one from back in May. Not sure if you can see it or not.
Bella likes he boys to not have whiskers. They had started to grow back out until I got
sick and had to restrict them to the utility room for the two weeks so I would not give them the bug.

He is the one the will most often start any battles with Bella. Lots of sneak attacks. Then it sounds like a cattle stampede.

Like I have always said Savannah cats are like a house full of toddlers high on sugar and caffeine and Xander thinks he is a
Savanah cat. I need to find the video when he first met Bella.

She had been smelling him through the door for weeksand I let him out into more space once the gut bugs had been cleared.
This was what happened when he was first out.

He likes to jump also. Just not quite as high as bella. She can do well over 7 feet from a sitting position.

Please feel free to brouse my videos on Youtube. There are a bunch of Mokkun and Tetsu there also.
Not sure if it up there or not but look for "1 Bat and 3 Cats" Somehow a bat got down the chimney and
through the glass doors. What a riot that caused. Bat was captured and put outside.

Great videos, what a cute baby Xander was, looked like Bella was just letting the wee lad know who the boss is. Will check out you tube for (1bat and 3 cats)

Was three weeks ago today that Suki came into my world, she is everything I had hoped for so far. Vocal, rambunctious, endless energy, affectionate, and already showing her intelligence. Barely 19 weeks old and her strength and athleticism are amazing. Favorite play toy is the feather wand, but anything else around the house is also in imminent danger once she builds up a head of steam (which is almost always). Currently eating an average of 10 oz of raw per day, almost 12 percent of her body weight each day, what a metabolism!
