As some of the others have already said, it is very difficult and often very emotional watching one of your babies leave. So much time is spent with and love given to these little ones from the day they are born, it's impossible for them to not have a special place in our hearts. I cry every time I watch one of our babies go to their new home. It makes it so much easier though when the families stay in touch with us and send updates. I love seeing our kittens in their new homes and knowing how happy they are with their new family and how happy the families are with our Savannah kittens.
Congratulations on your new kitten, Harp! It's very exciting to bring a baby home, and he is very handsome! I love the name Atlas, but I'm certain you will select the perfect one whether it be now or after he comes home to you.
i love the passion, you rarely find breeders (of any animal) that are this passionate towards their babies! i dont think i have ever heard of dog/cat breeders of any kind getting emotional when their young leave. most just care about the money in my opinion, and dont have the passion that i am seeing in this community. i feel it makes this breed that much more special!

the anticipation and excitement kills you every time. i guess the buying helps pass the time, you get to research every little aspect of everything you want to buy to make sure its suitable for your baby. one year next month? time must have flown by for you! she must be growing up so fast tooI spent so much money waiting for Zeddie...I couldn't handle the waiting! lol, its hard to believe she will be one year next month

Wall furniture arrives next week, 3 beds, 7 rails that can double as perches. And with cathedral ceilings with windows at the 12-13ft mark, they better love dad for making these windows accessible to better survey their domain!
