I assume they have sent off blood for the heartworm tests... hoping it is not that as in cats that is so much worse than for dogs :-(

What is the next step(s)? Cardiac ultrasound I am assuming, and possible biopsy of the colon mass? What a horrid mess :-(

Either you have been through this, or your a vet. You pretty much nailed it.

Waiting on the final blood results, and should have them back tomorrow.

Not sure were going to do a biopsy at this point. As it would only call for pain and discomfort. The Vet was fairly sure that is what it was when he originally saw it, however wanted a radiologist to confirm it.

In any case, before we do anything else additional, were waiting for the rest of the blood results.

The chem panel came back, and that was normal as well.

Oh my. How old is Bijou? How is she doing today? Have you had anymore updates and what they can do for her? Shes so beautiful. After losing two cats myself, I know the pain of watching them ill is very tough. Ill definitely be thinking about it, its heartbreaking to see them sick.
