Got the results from the vet. Heart worm is showing negative, however vet says that if the worms are not mature. Then it won't show positive just yet.
He's saying the next step is the ultra sound or biopsy.
Not sure what were doing just yet.

It seems any positive test is positive but negatives can be positives in future or not be relevant. It didn't seem clear how then they came to the diagnoses of disease whereby they could then say that 80% of diagnosed cases survived infection.
I'd probably choose ultrasound over biopsy, it's a lot less invasive...
