Diablo cried for 48 hours straight, purring in between whines. No sleep for three days. Hence the name : Diablo.

Turns out he is a total love who was grieving for his mom and litter mates.
Be patient. It will be fine. Just don't do what we did and give the kitty a name too early; my little angel is anything but fallen and is very misnamed.

Will try today Patti. Hit another milestone last night. He is trusting a lot more now. We have been teaser toying him and as long as I lay down on the floor on my side with him he goes crazy playing. I mean he jumps over me, on me and around me. He'll jump up on my side and squat down stalking. Soooo cute. While playing he will even let us pet him some. We're not sneaking pets in either. He stands up tall as we pet down his back. Soon as the playing is over it's back to no pets! little turd! LOL! All an all,,,,things are going well. It's hard to get pics because if he's not running around like a mongoose,,,he's hiding. I'm very encouraged!

Oh,,,,,,,,,you guys were not kidding about mess making! OMG! His little area is a disaster area! Looks like a nuclear bomb went off! Lol ! Rhonda said that she was sure that we had a snake in the house last night. The little guy has a normal hiss that says back off and a playtime hiss that sounds just like a snake! Our house sounds like Noahs arc since we brought him home! Meow, ,bark, ,chirp, ,hiss, ,and a whole host of indescribable noises. We love it!

I would say you have a real Serval like boy. Snake hisses are Serval and so are bark and chirp. Now you gonna have to record a video with sound of the bark hiss chirp.

I'll try but he doesn't do it on demand. It's mostly in the middle of the night. Turn on the light and he stops. I don't even know what he's doing,,,,,I would guess playing but I can't see him in the dark. Little monster!!!LOL! !I would say you have a real Serval like boy. Cheetah kits chirp and bark for Mama, if they lose sight of her. I think Servals do too. Maybe he is looking for Mom. His snake hiss may be a warning to things in the dark he doesn't recognize. He will be fine. Poor little guy. <3
