Litter Lifter Kitty Scoop

I loooooooove the litter lifter -- the first pic you showed. Bought 4 of them a couple years ago at PetSmart and can't them now anywhere. Mine are about ready to replace, a few of the fines broke from the frame and I'll look online. They do a fabulous job of getting all the tiny bits out and keeping the litter cleaner longer.

Amazon has them

Just a note, if you order these directly from their site in an order above $50 you'll receive a 12% discount. Also, I hope Paige doesn't mind, as I solicited them for a forum discount and hopefully a coupon code.

A litter robot wouldn't work for me as my problem pee'r won't get in an enclosed litter box. He also won't use a litter box that has been soiled by another cat and has to deficate and urinate in different boxes. With larger translucent boxes we are now down to 4 litter boxes, just as my original post stated, and we don't have issues.

So I am glad the Litter Robot works for you although it's clearly not an option for me.

Nyah is the same, one box for peeing, one for more serious business. The bottom floor is designated as serious business, top floor is pee. Don't you want to know what goes into the decision making process? We have a third box in the quarantine room, I don't know yet if either will be ok with communal boxes, especially if Kovu doesn't follow the rules! I use the sterelite boxes, too. I think the bigger cats like it better, plus litter isn't kicked all over creation. I will add boxes for Kovu, keeping a minimum of 3 regardless for the 1 box per kitty plus 1. Now I need to go get this nifty scooper!

I've been using Blue walnut litter for awhile now and like it better than the others I used, but it does track and make dust when scooping. I wouldn't flush it down the toilet though...I bag it up and throw out.
