The look in her eyes suggests she's up to it, lol, what a cutie pie! Does she let you touch that fuzzy belly? Bear is fuzzy, too, and is the only cat I've ever met who prefers belly pets to anything else.

If she's feeling lazy & comfortable, A FEW belly pets are fine. If she's in feisty, "crazy kitty" mode, I'll get a handful of teeth & nails if I try.

Bear sounds like such a love bug. Malibu loved belly rubs too. When we laid down on the sofa watching TV together, he'd always lay next to me on his back so my hand could rest on his tum.

Yeah, she'll hold her own with Odrick I bet. ;)

Bear is only lovey when he's sleepy - otherwise it's hard to get hands on him, he's too busy patrolling the house/windows and whatever else is on his Bear-genda for the day. Ninja is the opposite, super affectionate all day, and then goes off to sleep by himself. Between the two of them I have one "normal" cat, haha!

You must miss Malibu so much, my heart hurts for you...

Thank you. I'm doing much better than I could have ever imagined but sometimes I do still get very emotional. It has been 70 days now. The hardest part was how sudden and unexpected it was. Even when they told me he had Lymphoma that day, I still thought I had time left. Not the 10 more years that I expected before that day (he was only 12) but at least a few months to a year. He declined so quickly and was gone only 4 days later.

I think the Lord knew that I would not have been able to handle a long goodbye. Malibu was happy and appeared healthy up until 4 days before I had to let him go. He knew he was loved immensely and I dont have any regrets. Every day was a good day with us and he was my best friend. I just wish it would have happened when he was closer to 18 or 22.

Sorry I'm so depressing!! I actually have an Odrick update and will post it below.

ODRICK UPDATE:

Sue says little Odge has a "wonderful temperament" and is "a sweet and loving boy"!! She says he's super playful and purrs up a storm :giggle:

I actually can't call him "Little Odge" because according to Sue, he's a BIG boy. She says he's bigger than all the kittens she has right now and some of them are F1's that are a week older than him o_O I am going to have my hands full.

Pictures for your enjoyment

He is looking good... Picture #3 makes him look like he is on the prowl for something... Like a Big Cat on the Prowl for Prey!

I definitely feel for you. The very same thing happened to my last boy - he was only 11. Sucks when it's so early, and so sudden. Hugs.

I have nothing to report! The last pics I received were when he was 19 days old. He just turned 8 weeks on Monday. I suspect I will get more any day now, probably this weekend.
Sounds like you need to nag your breeder for more pics - but nicely, tell them the entire SV forum is demanding new pics!
