Micro Chip (at what age)?

What would be too young??
Realistically? There is no too young-- although you wouldn't chip a newborn animal (common sense-- you wouldn't expose a newborn to a medical setting just to get it chipped, etc, etc)). Shelters are chipping 5-6 week old babies. The chip is the size of a grain of rice. If I remember right, even pocket pets have been chipped over the years. Birds are even chipped.

I agree with Trish, the kitten can be chipped at pretty much any age that the vet is willing to do it - unless the breeder does their own microchipping, in which case the kitten will most likely come to you already chipped.
