Thank you! I gave him some of the baby food and he ate it willingly. Then, immediately after, he threw up. He seems completely normal otherwise; playing, running around, etc

It could be an obstruction...they should probably get an x-ray!
I'm not sure what 'all' the vaccines are that have been recommended but I always give the three-way (panleukopenia, rhinotraecheitis, calici), and in some states rabies is required. I personally don't give anything else.
I am worried that he is eating and throwing up. A simple xray doesn't always pick up an obstruction (regardless of what the vet says) so if it is negative I would talk seriously to him about doing a barium swallow, unless he starts eating and holding food down.
