Need Healing Thoughts!

Thanks Deb (and everyone). I know that what is happening with me is nothing compared to so many other people's sick pets, but it is hard to stay positive sometimes.

I know, stress makes everything worse lol. I just wish it was summer! Everything is better in the summer haha

My friend does Bowen Therapy so she came over tonight and did some Bowen on Zeddie. Minutes after she left Zeddie was racing around and playing with her mouse toy, batting it around the ottoman. She hasn't played that game in weeks! In fact, I haven't been able to get her to play with any toys since she has gotten sick. In about 4-5 days we will do more Bowen with her. It is the first time she has done it with a cat, so neither of us know what to expect with her haha

I am not familiar with Bowen. What is it? And sounds like it works!

It is a non-invasive therapy technique. It is similar to massage therapy, but it doesn't hurt. It is like a light tweaking along the spine to align the body. It is more hands-on than Reiki and has more predictable results. My sister's dog had it done, and he has had ear infections for years. His ear infection just disappeared after his Bowen.

Hopefully this is the last update I will have to do on Zeddie's health.

The vet called yesterday and there were absolutely no abnormalities found on her ultrasound. They prescribed a hypoallergenic kibble/canned combo, but Zeddie won't eat it. I decided not to bother with it, as they want her on it as they don't know what else to do with her. I have been feeding her raw again, but am breaking it down to 4 meals small meals a day with probiotics mixed in and lots of water. I added a bit of psyllium husk powder for extra fiber, and diatomaceous earth powder as her fecal hasn't come back yet. It could be bacteria that is making her sick as she was in Olivher's cage right before we took her to the vet.

She hasn't vomited since Monday night, and her cerenia shot is now worn off so hopefully, fingers crossed, we are finished with the problem.
