Thanks Deborah! I'll see if Trish adds it to the list. I would have been fine with Nifty, Gomez, Goomba, Mchumba and about a dozen other names but I'm not in the executive branch when it comes to naming kittens.

Oh and another phone shot of the little guy. Doesn't do him justice, as I don't think I'll be able to get a decent shot of him without employing a real camera.

I'm sure the relative size of his ears won't hold up although the base of them seems pretty broad. Definitely not as much bengal in this guy as Chongo, head shape is different along with his proportions as a kitten.

As ears go, Yeti's are not giant, but they are perfect for him. He more than makes up for it with his character. His personality is a real winner and he shows more of it daily.

This morning I mixed up 8 ounces of raw beef with two cans, 2.9 ounces each of Hill's science diet healthy kitten development chicken.

All three cats went at it and polished off half of it before I put it away. I have just brought it back out and they are again sharing it. I noticed that Paz has not touched his kibble since this morning. :)

I might soon be able to put the bags of kibble away or trade them to a friend.

None of our three boys are show quality. That said, the personalities- they win you over pretty fast.
Glad to hear that Yeti has his paws wrapped so securely around your heart. Just wait until he is out of his QT sleeping arrangements and starts waking you up for a purr fest.

Hey John, here's another name possibility for your mel. If you have read Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolf you might consider the name Severian. The main character wore a cloak that was supposedly darker than black.

Between my SVs and the DSH, I went through quite a bit of food yesterday. Great to see their appetites building up and the food strike over for now. Also seeing Paz eating the mix is a good sign.

Yuki groomed Paz a little this morning and Yeti did some grooming of Paz last night. He will stick around and allow it if I am petting him.
