I love my new dogs. Yessur, these fine dogs are right special. They follow me around like I'm the pack leader and watch everything I do. The dogs like to curl up with me at night to keep away the chill. The little hound, I think that'uns a retriever cause he loves to play fetch. The other'n is lightnin' fast and skinny, gotta be one o'them wippets running to and fro'.

They's also a might peculyur. They whine a bit now'n'gin t'where it sounds sort o'like a cat an a goat. The whippet growls sometimes, sounds like a much bigger dog, almost like a mastiff, scarey sound.

Yup, got me two fine new dogs t'keep me an my older hound company. Come to think of it, he's a might odd too.

Ain't never heard one bark from any of them.

:p

Yeti developes a new cute-itude. I was eating a cheeseburger and he decided to try and steal the wrapper to play with. (which is my fault for using paper balls for fetch)

He walked up sniffing the air and I figured he was primarily interested in the food, then suddenly he lunges in and grabs the wrapper with his mouth and tries to make an escape with it. I managed to quickly smack the wrapper down on the table and it slipped from his grasp, but that didn't keep him from trying a different tactic a minute later. I had the wrapper resting on my hand and the other hand and burger on top. He comes up again and serval slaps the wrapper to knock it loose, but he missed the follow-on grab with his mouth so once again I beat him to the wrapper.

I suspect he'll eventually win some of these battles. As long as it remains wrappers and not food I'm not that concerned, but when he goes for the food, then he'll see how defensive this ape can get. :p

Well Tort.... Mayhem can easily identify the McDonalds bag... from the street if I don't come in thru the garage. Then he is in my face for a couple of bites of hamburger and two small fries. Ridiculous. He taught Rascal to get in on the hamburger, too. So... the wrapper fetish is only the beginning....

Sounds like our dog. I swear she could tell hubby had fries in the bag before he even reached the driveway. Now that we gave up all fast food she barely notices when he comes home.

And yet another cute-itude from Yeti. He has figured out that if Paz is winning the wrestling, which right now he easily does, Yeti can run over and curl up next to me and Paz holds back uncertain if I will do something. Sneaky little clown. :)
