Now Presenting: Yuki and Yeti

Paz got Yeti good last night. I was sitting on the edge of the bed and Yeti did his run to the ape trick. Paz realized I was looking the other way (watching the reflection on my phone screen) and got to Yeti for more wrestling. No harm done, they were having a good time, but Yeti's escape trick didn't work so he will have to come up with something new. :sneaky:

I don't think there's any issue with Paz putting Yetti in his place. Better to do it now while the whippersnapper is still a youngling~!

Pork, it does a kitty good.

I put down a pound of raw pork tonight and the three of them knocked out over half of it before I put it away. Yes, even Paz. He hesitated until he saw how the SVs were going at it then joined in and ate a good meal.

They all ate well and Yeti was a machine. He definitely downed the most of the three. I have not weighed him since the last vet visit and I will wait until the next one on the 24th. He is growing fast and has almost matched Yuki for size. When he arrived he could sit in the palm of my hand, wow what a change.

The recent list:

They hoovered up the pork in record time.
Took Paz to vet this morning for eye infection.
SVs stole tupperware container with thawing rabbit off counter, opened it and nibbled.
Container of thawing rabbit now hidden in drawer, until they figure out how to open it.

Hope Paz is feeling better soon!
The drawer will eventually be opened.
Our boys have no trouble opening the cabinets or drawers

Paz is still nursing a very inflamed left eye. The ointment has helped some as it is now mostly open, but bother is it red.

He hates being medicated and tries to stay out of reach, but I can catch him and treat his eye fast enough that he doesn't panic.

I put the rabbit on the counter again to see if I can coax them to eat more since to them they captured it.

Right now it is just the ointment.

Spoke to the vet this morning (vet called me to check in) and discussed possibility that Paz is having an allergic reaction to the ointment because his eye is still an angry red. He will be going to the vet Thursday along with the SVs for their appointment.

At just short of 29 weeks, Yeti is at exactly 8 pounds.

Took all three beasties to the vet this morning. As usual Paz crapped the carrier. Yuki decided to be grumpy and she also managed to slip out of the exam room and wander around the back area in the clinic amusing the technicians. We didn't know she got out until one of the techs brought her back.

Hopefully in another couple weeks we'll have the all-clear for ringworm. No lesions are present, all hair has grown back and the first set of test cultures had no signs of ringworm. Side note: Yeti really enjoyed being brushed for the purpose of collecting the sample. He closed his eyes to very narow slits and purred up a storm.

For Paz we are switching to steroid eye drops. I just have to figure out how to grow a third arm and hand, two to contain him with his eye open, and one to apply the drops. Once we get the inflamation under control then we can address the viral cause.

It sounds like you have your hands full! I'm anxious to get Vivi on the scale again- it seems like she grew into full grown cat size just in the last week! I'm guessing she's right up there with Yeti at about 8lbs...
