  • Silver has no known function in the body.
  • Silver is not a nutritionally essential mineral or a cure-all and should not be promoted as such.
  • Claims that there can be a “deficiency” of silver in the body and that such a deficiency can lead to disease are unfounded.
  • Claims made about the effectiveness of colloidal silver for numerous diseases are unsupported scientifically.
  • Colloidal silver can have serious side effects.

I have seen colloidal silver work, but would personally not over use it. I never promoted it as a natural cure all, nor did I comment on the benefits of it. My teacher mentioned that it is a strong antimicrobial like frankincense and myrrh and to be used with caution, as one would use an antibiotic. That being said, I used it in my rabbit with great results, and my sister used it in her dogs with positive results as well. Often natural medicine isn't 'scientifically proven' well because researchers can't get the money to study it. It is, however, studied through anecdotal evidence. The serious side effects of colloidal silver is if taken in extreme excess it can effect the colour of one's skin and eyes.

I don't think there is such things as cure all, merely tools. Some target certain areas more than others.

How is Michonne doing now, @aharter?

I have never seen a cat go more crazy over human food than michonne!! I never even fed her scraps because I specifically wanted to avoid that , but it doesn't matter lol. She got ahold of a piece of habanero cheese and omg... She LOVED it. She tries to dive head first into any food I am eating ... Especially cheese... Or meat. She couldn't get into this container of queso and she started growling at it. If you pick her up she is like a possessed kitten with people food. I have started placing her in the bathroom while I eat and letting her out again but she doesn't seem to be getting it lol. Swats, a stern no, and being placed on the floor and she will look at you , scream a loud desperate meow that sounds like I am starving her, and jump into the food again.

My girl was like that when she was young. She grew out of it when she was a bit over a year. My foster kid is the same and he is a year...he just goes mental for food! Silly kitties...you would think we didn't feed them

Kristin, I am still catching some sneezing ... I thought she was done, but I guess I spoke too soon. Her appetite and playfulness is off the wall so I am not super worried. I am going to the vet next Saturday for her second round of vaccinations and I will see what the vet thinks then! Surely the vaccine effects wouldn't last this long so maybe allergies... Possibly sickness tho she has no eye stuff and only occassionally a little runny nose with sneezes.
She is so funny I will feed her the wet food the same time I eat and she will ignore it until she realizes all of my food is gone, then go eat her own food.... You should see her little belly too after she eats, so full !

Michonne loves fetching, savandalism, chilling up high, and true blood (also Star Trek as I've been told by my boyfriend).
