I agree... But I highly doubt they did any of this in China... That is what happens when you try to cut corners

Yeah Paige, totally agreed. When I watched the troubleshooting video of him strong arming the product I just get pissed. Imagine someone like Amberlee, the young woman Bengal owner in the intro video, trying to beat the thing together. She's the target customer profile and no way you can have a broad market product that requires so much force to assemble.. The on top of it the end user likely needs some mechanical reasoning skills to resolve issues.

Just a train wreck.

First may I say you have absolutely adorable babies. Did u quarentine new baby when brought in to new household?

Yes, Ándale will be in quarantine for two weeks of which he has completed the first week yesterday evening. They are capable of seeing each other under the door, have played footsy with one another and had a couple accidental face to face meetings. All the hisses are done and they are really anxious to meet each other.

We are definitely excited to have a pair of cats again, and coming home to the both of them will be a welcomed return to normalcy.

Just wanted to update this thread. My wheel is working pretty well, in fact real well. A little frustration, some modifications and the creator of the wheel finally getting the information out there to put it together right. There are also some third party videos where an extra wheel has been added at the center point to get the wheel to spin a little truer.

I'm actually getting out of the woods on some things, so I'll be able to put something together on what I have done. Dooley loves the wheel, although it's harder to get him to perform on it than it is to get him to use it as a 3am alarm clock. That was also what led to making the wheel perform more quietly.

There are lots more videos online now that cover how to get it assembled properly. That would have saved a lot of people a lot of frustration if they had been available from the onset. I certainly had my issues with the wheel and although I had assembled it correctly, the troubleshooting video would have been a great help.

I plan on giving them a call next week explaining what I have done and the shortcomings I still experience. They aren't major, but you shouldn't need to search for remedies on a brand new product.

I'm thinking if they're smart and make some modifications to improve the wheel I might give their version II a try...

I am not wasting any money on the One Fast Cat wheel...

This is the wheel I will buy to replace my wheel by the Cat Wheel Company: http://www.petzones.com/Cat_Exercise_wheel.html

Yes...it is expensive...but yes...it is handmade and very well made! for me, I already know my cats will use it, so that is not the issue, which is probably why I would spend the money...
