One Fast Cat Wheel Reviews

Bad news. One of the parts was incorrectly molded by 2mm, thus requiring a rubber mallet to assemble the wheel.

They are going through all the boxes, but anticipate that most of them will require this part to be replaced.

They're anticipating a 30 day shipping delay.
Sorry to hear of this setback. Good thing our babies love yes no matter what.

Update: Prototype replacement parts arrive 10/24. If they're good, production replacements ship by ocean freight (slow boat from x) on 10/30 and shipments to us start mid to late November.

To give you some idea of the magnitude of the task of replacing the parts, here's Cat Wheels waiting for new parts in the California warehouse:

And that's not all of them...my count is that 1,791 wheels were ordered via Kickstarter. There's maybe 1,560 in the picture.

I counted just over a 1000.
24 per pallet, and I count 65 pallets at least. Note the lower left--those pallets are on the other side accessible from the other row. I assume they go all the way back. Also, as you go back, it's easier to count spaces between green supports as the pallets start to blur together. I see two gaps I might have counted, so maybe 1,512, but I think there's more pallets in the isle than I counted. And there's a couple of boxes missing from the first pallet in the isle...and there's two more photos that we could try to sew together and get a better count, maybe...

But the point is they're working their butts off fixing this problem. They're in the midst of opening every box and removing the defective pieces so when they get the replacements they can drop them in each box, tape it up, and get them out as quickly as possible.

Who knew there was such a large market for affordable cat wheels. Now we just have to hope they're good and affordable.
