Received a return phone call from them today as they seemingly had shipped my package incorrectly. They were supposed to be shipping me three wheels, and they only shipped me one. Of the three wheels that I was supposed to receive, One Red, One Green, One Blue, they shipped me One Black. They will send me the replacement track pads when they are available.

The woman on the phone was Amberlee, the bengal owner in the video. She was really nice and apologetic. They are supposed to be getting back to me soon with a remedy, of which they didn't preclude me just purchasing the extra wheel they shipped incorrectly at a discounted rate. So still not sure how they'll manage it all, but I might have a wheel arrive here while I'm away picking up a new kitten.

One last note is I measured an outstretched Dino toe to toe and he is 51" long. With the diameter of the wheel being only 48" across hard to envision Dino being at full stride on the wheel. Through all of this, I also learned that Servals are the second fastest of all the different wildcats which suggests are Savannahs are pretty speedy little guys. Should all be interesting, just hope it arrives when it's supposed to.

You measured Dino toe to toe? How on earth did you manage that?

That was easy. I was holding his front paws and we were dancing around a bit. Got him near a wall and gave him a little stretch with his rear feet still on the ground, marked the wall as high as his front paws would reach and then measured. He's certainly not very big, but he's assuredly long and lean.

Empirical evidence that the lot of you are crazy, welcoming a cat into your homes that can exceed the speed limit on city streets.

"Oh you won't believe what (fill in the blank with a Swahili name) did today". Yeah, I probably would as crazy things happen when you have a cat capable of holding his own in an NBA All Star game.

Still no shipping news for me--I'm jealous! Hopefully real soon now. It appears that the boat that left 4 days later arrived in port first, so they have half the parts now, and half should arrive next week.

Ziggy is over 42", measured as how high he reaches when pawing the glass door, with no stretching. Oni and Jax are considerably shorter. It will be interesting to see how well Ziggy fits, and how quickly and how well they all take to it.

One of the first recipients broke a piece of the outer ring during assembly and is asking for a refund. Another, who successfully assembled the wheel, suggests trimming the "nubbins" in the center of each interior panel down with a knife--I'm guessing it's the plastic injection site. They also had a gap of about 3/4" when done applying the pads to the running surface. I suspect that they were designed to be just slightly spaced out. It appears from the video that each pad should cover two interior panels:

Thanks for posting the video Chris!

Following in the footsteps of my engineering father I see some design challenges and I'll take my time getting things set up. I'll also make sure the thing is good an warmed up before snapping it together as I'm sure it will arrive below freezing. I'm also thinking I would like to mix and match the track pads in the future as they are a replacement part.

Just hope Fedex doesn't screw things up.

Yep. Except for a few pieces in the stand. It does look like heavy plastic. Will know more once it's in hand.

My biggest concern is the plastic to metal portion of the base. It could be solid and not an issue but it's still a single bolt being connected through a piece of plastic. If there was more than one mounting point, or the base matched the angle that pressure was being applied I would feel a lot more comfortable. I also need to say it's the portion of the product I wouldn't have any issue with building my own remedy for.
