Playing Fetch

Of our three boys, only Diablo plays fetch reliably. Mickey starts to play, then gets to involved in the petting to continue.

On youTube under Riveridgesavnnahs, we have Djembe playing catch.

Kurt! Those are the same spongy balls that my SV to be is fetching with now. I need an online source for them, if you don't mind sharing where you get them? I think with the rate they are going to be destroyed or lost and destroyed I better order some now and stockpile.

Shango's new behavior this week.... He discovers something new every week, I don't even have to 'provoke' him, it must be instinctive!

I watched Leyla last night keep herself amused by dropping her toy off the top of her tree, dive down after it, beat it up a bit and then pick it up and scale her tree (a few attempts had to be made, she kept dropping it on the way up) to the top and drop it only to repeat the cycle. I wish I had capture it on video lol It was quite the process. Maybe a self-fetching game?

Some of mine do that but with our staircase instead...the take to the top of the stairs and drop so it bounces down and they chase it and grab it and climb back up again

Dropping down the stairs is too funny! Nyah is an avid fetcher. She has a ball made of all wool that she loves! She brings it back and drops it at your feet to throw again.

That is when I stuff it under my pillow- out of site, out of mind!

OMG! If I did that then that would inspire the diving under the pillow, frantic digging game! Yikes!

Distract with another toy, hide original toy...now you're stuck with toy # 2...repeat. Ha!
