Paige is now tube feeding the babies. At this time it appears that all is going well. She is very tired..as we all can understand. When they call to give her the update on Zuri..I will let everyone know what they say. Keep up the positive thoughts and prayers. This means so much to Paige at this time. I am sure she will be back to answer questions very soon;>)

Glad to hear at least kittens doing ok. Praying for strength for Paige and healing for Zuri. Hopefully in a few days this will be only a rough memory for the beginning of those babes lives.

I think you are correct. Sometimes things do not happen as we wish, but everything ends up very well. I hope this is one of those times.

I assume Zuri will be on antibiotics when she returns, just remember that when the mum gets antibiotics this comes out with the milk as well, and may play hvoc with the intestinal sytem of the kitties: make sure they get some kind of probiotic in addition to supplements/ersatz mum's milk, I use "sour milk"(lactobacillusfermented milk) or sour cream as it's always available in the stores, you may have other stuff in the US.

I was thinking about that last night as well Per, I hope the vet is able to put Zuri on antibiotics that are safe for the kittens, because I don't think Paige wants to be tube/bottle feeding these kittens until they're weaned!
