Thank you all so much! Just heard- they were able to pull it out using a scope! He will be on pain meds and pepcid for stomach lesions due to it being in there for a while. I can pick him up in 4 hrs :(. Cant wait to see him and give him big kisses! Thanks so much for all your prayers. I will tell the whole long story later when I get a chance. I had no idea he had swallowed anything and his symptoms were so vague - SCARY!

Whew! After kisses, you will no doubt have a savannah cat chat with him about ingesting baaaad things. So happy to hear that he will be ok and that he didn't need surgery.

Glad to hear Tojo is ok...but you really need to have a serious talk with him ;) He simply cannot scare us like that again...

One of my biggest fears is that Shelby will eat something that he shouldn't! I'm so glad to hear Tojo's going to be alright and hope that you're relieved too. Can you tell us what some of his symptoms were that prompted you to bring him to the vet? Since Shelby is a kitten, he plays with EVERYTHING and sometimes gets into things he probably shouldn't. He's done so much redecorating that he's found things that I forgot I even had. I've definitely tried to do my best at taking away things that could be swallowed but as we know, nothing's fool proof. So I'd love to know the symptoms to watch for. I worry about this a lot.
