We have just left the specialist at Angell Memorial in Boston, we met with Maureen C. Carroll D.V.M., Diplomat ACVIM. That's a lot of initials after her name. today they took more X-Rays and Anaya does still show pneumonia. She did more blood work , as the results from before do show some unclear findings. There is still significant tracheal narrowing., Something obstructing airflow. before they put her under anesthesia, for additional testing, they would like to continue to treat her with a steroid and an antibiotic.
She has scheduled laryngeal exam fluoroscopy, tracheostomy & bronchoscopy for next Wednesday, after we taper down steroid treatment. She is looking at tracheal vs Bronchial malacia vs intraluminal mass. We are hoping for a polyp.

Diane, Sorry to hear you are having such a hard time with your baby. Where do you live? I am north of boston.
Hi! We are on Cape Cod. You are in Everett, right? We actually communicated quite a few times right before Christmas, I fell in love with one of you London's beautiful bst. We were very close, but the February or late Januarydelivery date didn't work for us, since we travel to our home int he Florida Keys for 5 weeks. I am a fan of your FB page, love your babies!

The doctor has asked for any breed specific heads ups to be aware of on Wednesday. for instance, I thought I remembered that ketamine is not a good anesthesia choice, am I correct? Can anyone advise.
