You have to be a paid member to use the private message feature. Here's the info from the rules page:
Here are a few of the benefits of upgrading to site sponsorship:
  • Site Sponsor title below avatar
  • Special Icon next to username depicting site sponsor
  • Username different color than regular members
  • Ability to edit posts with no limit
  • PM limit greater than 1 convos
  • Have image as signature
  • Private support forum
  • Change Own Username x1
  • Change Thread Title
  • Ability to use certain features of new rating system instead of likes (coming soon) that regular members cannot use
You can upgrade your account by going to your username -> click on it -> you will see Account Upgrade on the left hand side...or...hover over your username on the top of the site and you will see Account Upgrade there as well.

Account upgrades will automatically be renewed yearly and you can cancel that at any time...meaning you will cancel your automatic renewal.

I will have to agree with Pam, if there is no urgent reason to take him to the vet, then there is no harm in waiting a bit longer until he has become more settled in his surroundings and more confident in his new life. Adding stress on top of stress is just not healthy for a kitten.

There is no guarantees that the vet visit is going to prove less intrusive in another two weeks or even a month. There is also nothing to suggest should they have a negative experience at the vet they will associate it with you once they have returned home. In the case of a negative experience, they just as well may view you as some great protector that found him safe harbor after the visit.

Don't complicate the simple.

Thank you John. That is exactly what Im thinking. I dont think in 2 weeks he will appreciate it anymore than he will now. I delayed it a week, and not going to delay it anymore.
