Rafiki not eating

Biopsy results will not be in until tomorrow. :(

Rafiki ate 3.5 oz this morning (normal breakfast is 3 oz) and has eaten 2.5 oz so far tonight. Her food has been put "up" so that Jammu (AKA cat-pig) cannot eat it and I will try again in a half hour. We gave her the first Mirtazapine pill about 45 minutes ago. Pilling her was not a problem and thankfully it is only every 3 days. I wanted to give it to her much earlier to give it a chance to kick in before dinner but got stuck at CVS pharmacy for over 2 hours - "it will be ready in 10-15 minutes" - yeah right, apparently my cats can tell time better than the folks there.

Sounds to me like she is doing just fine. I know it is worrisome waiting.. Do not worry. Worry give the bad enegy more strength. Breathe. HUG!

Needle biopsy results are in...only 80% accurate but NO EVIDENCE of CANCER CELLS. NEGATIVE for lymphoma!!!!! He is even questioning if it had progressed to fatty liver. We will pick up a prescription for antibiotic/anti-inflammatory in a couple of hours. He feels that as long as Rafiki keeps eating, she will make a full recovery. We are to follow up with blood work next week.

Rafiki ate her food AND some of Jammu's this morning for a full 4.1 oz (normal breakfast is 3 oz). She has been super cuddly, playful and affectionate since yesterday. All household members got bathed this morning by Rafiki and her little tongue. :in love: I am about to have a happy weekend!tri tongue:
