It is still going well.

Tonight I had to give her 2 pills. I had a little discussion with her about it ahead of time and used the pill pockets. She sniffed at it some but wolfed them both down. This is the 3rd night in a row that I have not had to shove pills down her throat.

We used the new grinder on Sunday and made our first batch with bones. Tonight's mixture was less than 30% Darwin and the rest was a mix of home made with bones and without (old batch). 4 oz consumed for breakfast and another 4 oz for dinner.

Very happy to hear she is doing well.

Things were going well. We went 3 days on just home ground with no Darwin. Last night, Rafiki snubbed and Jammu threw up. It has been blazing hot so I somewhat attributed it to the hot weather. This morning Rafiki is lethargic. I split a can of baby food between the 2 cats. Jammu ate all of his and Rafiki ate most of hers. Jammu also ate his normal breakfast of chunks + ground. Rafiki totally snubbed hers. She ate 2 pieces of kitty crack but not very enthusiastically. Hubby is going to work from home to try and get her to eat more.

The batch of home made ground was supplemented with DocRoy's and Taurine. My breeder is no longer using the DocRoy's as he feels it has too much vitamin A. I have an order of Mazuri supplement for whole prey on order but I need to grind some meat tomorrow. Would it be OK for me to use the Mazuri for slab meat with whole chicken thighs for this one batch?

Concerned about Rafiki being lethargic. Contacted the vet about coming in on Saturday and she said to come in tonight. So it is off to the vet we go. :(
