Great pics, beautiful cat, and I love your house!
Me too! Her house is gorgeous! Looks like a cabin that we stayed at in Blue Ridge, GA about 6 years ago. Loved that place. And Rock Star is one handsome fellow. I so wish I could have an F1. There is nothing quite like them.

Thanks guys! He has definitely been a bright spot in our lives ;) My husband and I have been building a log home for about 9 yrs now! Yup 9yrs! We have done the majority of it ourselves but its been a blast and we are 90% done ;) now we have a lil helper, Matt was tiling under the stairwell and Rockstar thought he would be of assistance ;), yeah, they aren't so much help...hehe. Rockstar has plenty of room to roam and play he loves the windows, he likes to watch all the wild life, especially the neighbors horses ;) We love our home, but he definitely makes it complete for sure! Thank you for all your kind comments!

Thanks for letting us know Brigitte! Rockstar is a lucky, lucky boy and seems to be fitting in quite nicely! Cindy, thank you so much for taking Rockstar in...he couldn't have gone to a better home with such loving parents :)

Hey Brigitte! Yes....I think WE all WON the kitty lottery! We were ready for the worst scenario...I had had two older cats and my last cat living til he was 20 and he was with me nearly half of my life! Rockstar fit in like he has been here just as long! Definitely a successful story, we had minor issues of him spraying the house, I kinda expected him to mark his territory but with lots of cleaning and after the first few months that settled down! I just kinda accepted it as part of my regular cleaning routine, but it did stop finally! I knew this might happen so it wasn't something I freaked out about, you take the bad with the good and you make it work and its a small price to pay for such a large reward in the end. He is truly amazing. He is in the kitchen right now in full conversation with my husband telling him about his day...hahahahaha. Then I will pull out the dabird and play for about 45 minutes with him wear him out a bit so we can get a full nights sleep, so it you think that age will slow them down...be warned, it doesn't...hehe! Not that I would change a thing! I love his energy level....anyone that meets him says he is purrfect for us, I am a bit hyper myself so he fits right in! Brigitte and her team at Savannah Rescue do an amazing job and God Bless them! She will always be an angle to us!

My first Savannah is an 11 year old F2, so I know what you mean about them not slowing down with age... they just never seem to completely grow out of kittenhood :)

The spraying was definitely what you thought it was, marking his territory...your home may have smelled like the previous cats a bit for example and he had to lay claim. I'm glad with some persistence (and cleaning) all calmed down which is exactly how we'd hope it would go!

Some of the group might be interested to know that Rock Star is one of the very first Wagati F1s... Nicole Greig of Wagati produced some of the first F1s and many many of our Savannahs go back to a Wagati F1, my very first breeding Savannah had a Wagati mom :) Nicole actually took him back to foster while we found his new home, how cool that must have been to see one of her babies thirteen years later!
